Compressor
Handling & Nitrox Installations is a 2 day
course. This is an important course for those who are involved
in the process of filling cylinders, either with air or
with Enriched Air. The first part of the course is completely
theory. Here we cover the features and functioning of high
pressure air compressors and membrane & constant flow
installations for Nitrox. We cover all compressor components
and you already do some practical work on individual parts.
In the second part we disassemble and assemble a 3 stage
and a 4 stage compressor. This allows you to see the way
the theory is applied in actual compressors (for this part
of the course the IT College is equipped with 3 compressor
blocks). We then go on with the theory behind partial pressure
blending. The last part is covering the practical parts
of the gas blender course. More detailed information on
this program is found on www.instructor-training.com/nitroxE.asp .
At the end of the course your skills go far beyond filling
or oil and filter change. Instructors who attend this course
can qualify to become DSAT Gas Blender Instructor and Compressor
Handling Specialty Instructor, which would allow them to
teach certain aspects of this seminar to their future students.
