| Oxygen First Aid |
The Oxygen First Aid program is a PADI approved Distinctive
Specialty. Traditionally this type of courses were given trough
the Divers Alert Network and were called Oxygen Provider. This
is a good program, but many of our students have indicated that
there were some inconveniences for them which they would like to
have solved. |
| The IT Oxygen First Aid program does this. Instructors
choosing this alternative to the traditional program enjoy the
following benefits: |
No bulky Instructor Manual to travel with - all you need
is on the CD-Rom.
- No delays for ordering materials which proved to represent
some complications in the past - all student materials can
be printed form the CD-Rom.
- The outline and student materials are available in French,
English, German and Dutch on a single CD-Rom.
- No separate renewal fee for an additional organization -
everything works via PADI.
- No additional cost to run the program - all you need is
the CD-Rom and a PIC envelop.
- No requirement to work with a specific brand of oxygen
equipment - you can work with the brand of equipment used by
the diving operation in which you conduct the program.
- No requirements to train a minimum number of students per
year.
|
To qualify as a Specialty Instructor for this program and to
obtain the CD-Rom, you must receive the necessary training on
Oxygen Equipment and technical and medical considerations. If
you do not have that training, you can visit the IT College to
do the required course. If you already did this training via DAN
(also if you are not in teaching status with DAN anymore) you
can order our CD-Rom without a requirement to do training again. |
