| Jan and Daniela |
| Jan and Daniela take care of the day to day
management of the Instructor Training College. Daniela took over
the infrastructure of the PADI European College in 1994, where
Jan was working as Educational Manager. The College was renamed
to Instructor Training, to reflect the major activity of the
school. |
 |
| Jan, a former officer in the dutch army, is
active in the diving industry since 1981 and was certified as a
PADI Instructor in 1983. Until that time he was active in two
dutch federations. After training all levels of PADI courses and
first assisting in ITCs (the former format of PADI Instructor
Training) and several IDCs, Jan was trained and certified as a
PADI Course Director in 1988. |
| Daniela was originally trained as a diver via a
German federation, but quickly recognized that PADI courses
would fit better to her needs. After completing all required and
additional courses and getting the necessary experience (up to
then she staffed more than 20 IDCs) she became certified as a
PADI Course Director in 1994. In 1992 Daniela made the switch
from being a part-time instructor to a full engagement in this
industry. |
 |
| Daniela and Jan have build up the College to the
level it has today. It is the main center for the Training of
PADI instructors in Europe and far beyond that. Personal
training and development was never lost out of sight. Both
Daniela and Jan and the staff have gone trough several training
programs each year, to make sure that we can provide in programs
which live up to our own expectations and the expectations of
our customers - . . . not only certified, but also qualified
. . . |
| Next to good training, also student
comfort has always been an area which was developed in an
attempt to reach perfection. You can rest assured that Daniela
and Jan will do everything needed to make your stay at the
College pleasant and comfortable. Food, drinks, a comforting
word, a relaxed ambiance, tranquility and many other things
guarantee that you can concentrate completely on your training,
without any distractions. |
| Next to taking care that everything
at the College - your training, the fun and your comfort - runs
the way it does, they also engage in activities for PADI, such
as translations in German and netherlands and doing a field test for
the 2001 IDC curriculum, formulating analysis's on diving
incidents for insurance companies, to be used in court and
developing new courses and training aids for existing courses
which are not sufficiently supported by PADI materials. |
