Instructors looking for a job in diving
PADI Instructors have options to work in a variety of regions in the world. Because the number of locations, the distance and language barriers, it is not always easy to make the first contact with a potential employer. This is where the IT College in Cannes comes in.
We provide a service for the employer. Any employer can contact us and we look in our data for a suitable instructor. It may look to you that this is not what you want as an instructor, but it is. Chances that you find a job via this system are extremely high. Almost any other job-placement system works the other way around - instructors are informed of vacancies. These systems do not take the wishes of the employer into consideration. The result is that the employer is overloaded by CVs and emails. In the end many will trash them and then contact us to find a suitable instructor immediately.
In order to assist you in your efforts to find you a job, we need your personal information and your permission to forward these data. For this you can download a form.
For the employers this service is free of charge. Instructors who did their IDC or an instructor continuing education program at the IT College have a lifetime free of charge access to this service. Instructors trained by other centers are charged € 109,-- to be entered in the system and then € 49,-- for any following years in which they wish to be reactivated.
The IT College can only provide for the first contact between employers and employees. Any additional information about the future job and any negotiation on conditions and wages is between you and the employer. The only function the IT College has is to establish a first contact between the two parties.
Diving operation looking for staff
In the international diving industry it is not always easy to get in contact with staff. Especially if you need to accommodate for clients in a language that you do not speak yourself. The IT College is happy to assist you with this.
You may be lucky, that we have exactly the instructor you are looking for in our system. The only thing you need to do is to sent us an email, indicating your most important wishes, with respect to languages spoken, obtained certifications, experience or other wishes. We recommend to only mention the attributes which are really required. Upon receipt of your request, you will receive a CV on any potential candidates. At that point in time you can take a look at preferences. With every specified wish, the number of potential candidates will reduce.
This service is free of charge for you. The IT College can only provide for the first contact between employers and employees. The only function the IT College has, is to establish a first contact between the two parties.
