If you are teaching in a temperate climate, you should become dry suit specialty instructor. The course only takes one day and allows you to teach the skills that are needed to dive around the year.
Teaching dry suit skills does not require cold water. You should be aware of the different procedures for diving in a neoprene or tri-laminate suit (or a version between the two called compressed neoprene). In the pool session and open water dive you learn skills related to buoyancy and procedures to correct a feet-up position.
The College can offer complete flexibility for the scheduling of your course. You can opt for half or full days, do several days of training without taking a break or take your course one day at a time. Learning is a personal experience and you should opt for a schedule that fits your needs. The current prices for our courses and services are found in the latest version of our brochure.
