Repair training

Repair training is a delicate issue. The College can not give you the right to repair diving equipment or compressors – only the importer (or manufacturer) for the country you work in can give the authorization for after-sales or repair services. This sometimes puts you in a difficult situation. Many dive centers are located in remote areas where there is no importer available and thus no opportunities to get training. In such cases you have to work with what you have – you can not leave equipment deteriorate, just because there is nobody available to give you an authorization to repair.

If you are in such a situation you can extent your equipment or compressor course for a few days. In those days we can teach you the techniques repair technicians use for servicing of technical equipment. Your training is considered for personal interest only – that is – you will not receive an additional certificate or an authorization. It is up to you to choose the moments you use your skills in a responsible manner.

The College can offer complete flexibility for the scheduling of your course. You can opt for half or full days, do several days of training without taking a break or take your course one day at a time.
