Fast Track Instructor Courses are programs that have limited flexibility to attend to personal needs and difficulties. The schedule is fixed and the program assumes that all prerequisite knowledge and skills are up-to-date. Programs like these are the only option in centers that work with traveling Course Directors – Course Directors who are only present in the center for the duration of the Instructor Course. This does not mean that these locations can offer the same level of service at the College – after all – we have the experience and have an on-site swimming pool as well as direct access to the sea. A day of training at the College is a full day of training, uninterrupted by a need to travel from one location to another. The College also has the option to offer more personalized schedules.

The fastest option is a 9 day course, followed by a 2 day exam. Note that the day before the exam is not part of the schedule. This day is reserved for the required EFR Instructor Course and remedial training for those who did not yet fulfill the requirements that allows them to present themselves for the Instructor Examination. The first day of the course is the instructor course orientation. It is a recommended option to do this day several weeks ahead of the remainder of the course (although that is not required). This is a good opportunity to already obtain the course materials (not included in the price of the course). |

We have a package available that consists of two additional days of preparation, the EFR Instructor Course (required to become a PADI Instructor), the Oxygen First Aid for Divers and Nitrox Instructor Courses, as well as the 9 day instructor course. By taking this option you will not only have a higher certification level (the qualifications to teach Nitrox, Oxygen First Aid and EFR) but you have also added some extra time for remediation of problems with skills or knowledge.
