The Scuba-Eco Nutrient Loading specialty is supported by an internet page dedicated to the project. That page was possible thanks to generous grants from Project AWARE and Scuba Publications. Take a look at the web site on www.scuba-eco.com.
The Instructor Course gives you in-depth knowledge on one of the biggest challenges the aquatic environment is facing – nutrient loading – and prepares you to teach about the subject, as well as organizing regular sessions with your students to measure the condition of local dive sites. Divers show a big interest in the techniques to measure water chemistry.
Your training will take a complete day. It includes theory, as well as a practical session in which you are introduced to the equipment and techniques used to analyze water samples you have just collected yourself.
If you can not come to the College for your training, there is another option. You will find an online version of this instructor course here. As part of your training (both at the College and online) you will receive a PowerPoint presentation on CD-Rom and an instructor guide to teach the subject to your students (at no additional charge).
The College can offer complete flexibility for the scheduling of your course. You can opt for half or full days, do several days of training without taking a break or take your course one day at a time. Learning is a personal experience and you should opt for a schedule that fits your needs. The current prices for our courses and services are found in the latest version of our brochure.
