Hello ,
we have entered a new book from Scuba Publications in our shop: http://www.instructor-training.com/os02e.asp?A1=*&A2=10-100
The book is written for Instructors and those who want to become Divemaster or Instructor. It covers the topics Physics, Physiology, Skills & Environment, Equipment and Decompression Theory. The French and Dutch translations of this book will be available in January 2007. The German translation will follow later in the year.
The book is written by Jan Oldenhuizing. Jan has been a full-time PADI Course Director since 1986. In these 20 years he has issued more than 4800 PADI certifications on Instructor Level. With this experience it is obvious that he not only knows what leadership level divers need to know, but also how best to explain these concepts - he has experienced what works (and doesn t) over and over again.
The Encyclopedia covers a lot of information, but this book is unique! It helps you with many hints, tips and techniques. Physics calculations are explained in a manner that is understandable for all (only in metric), even for those who hated math at school. Decompression theory is up to date with aspects such as RGBM and the skills and environment section covers a wide range of subjects.
You can take a look at the content on the page of the publisher: http://www.scuba-publications.com/e1010.asp?id=119
With best regards,
Daniela & Jan
