Just come and learn! Our slogan implies that we want you to learn as much as possible – we not only want you certified, but we will do our best to help you become as qualified as humanly possible. This means that we apply modern teaching techniques based on the best performing theories of learning and instruction available today. Thanks to technological advances and research on the ways people learn best, the days of listening to a monologue in a classroom are over.
In the College you work in small groups. Depending on the subjects at hand and the level to which they are covered, groups are not bigger than 4 to 7 people. This goes for practical work in the pool or in the sea, as well as for theory subjects. With this set-up you can be sure to receive an adequate level of personal guidance.
Thanks to our special teaching tools, our know-how and the structure of our teaching, all students can advance in their own speed. Fast learners do not waste time, while slower learners get all the attention and guidance they need to grasp the level of skill and comprehension needed at their level of training – both for certification and to become really proficient (qualified) in the subject they are working on.

With us, learning becomes an interactive experience. We have the tools to let you discover things by yourself, the know-how to give you the input you need, interactive computer based training to allow you to speed up your learning and the infrastructure (several classrooms, our own pool and direct access to the sea) to adapt ourselves to your individual learning style.
So – just come and learn. If you want to work toward a specific certification, or just want to specify a number of days of learning and get the most out of it in terms of knowledge, skills and certifications – the College is the right address. You should look at our instructors as mentor or coach, rather than teacher in the traditional sense of the word.
In the section on courses, you will find an estimated number of days needed to complete the requirements for that course level. This is an indication and should be seen as an average. Fast learners might go faster and could aim to complete 4 days worth of teaching in 3 days. If you want or need to go slower, just keep in mind to reserve some time beyond the average duration of the program of your choice.
In many cases you can already start preparing at home. Any preparation done will reduce the time needed for your training. In the specific course pages you will find suggestions (if available). The main sources are the textbooks offered in our internet shop and the internet page we are hosting for diving instructor online training – www.specialty-instructor.com. Preparation with books and/or online training allows you more economic use of your time and money.
